This is very exciting research proving the utility of spiking neural networks for the control of complex multi directional pick and place robotic arms that these Austrian researchers have designed to be 3D printed.
And guess what at point 13. they reference the training breakthrough accomplished by Brainchip and in the conclusion like Tata’s Dr Arijit Mukherjee they are looking to move their research forward using an SNN in hardware.
Now given that Brainchip is the only company in the world with a suitable SNN in hardware called AKIDA I wonder what they will be using:
