Thanks again Jak. Like EduCAtoRr says the dow sneezes and we catch a cold.

If we are to further refine our trading then the US futures is an essential tool. By the time you get up and watch the shares fall in the opening auction it is too late. An idea of the futures market the day before allows us to sell and be ready to take advantage of any negative open.

I know this is obvious to a lot of people but for somebody who usually holds for the long term it is a part of the learning curve.

Not that it will have a major effect on MEO before the ann IMO. Different forces are in play.

Found the missus's secret biscuit tin over the weekend and managed to get a few more nuts. Could say she had a hand on (sorry in) them. I suppose I'll have to pay her back, but she'll be happy with the interest:)
