Recently noted report that there are some 400+ pulp mills in North America!
Some are closing down, for variety of reasons, but still leaves a swag.

"Pulp mills generate three to four spin-off jobs for every job in the mill. They are economic engines in every town where they operate." as quoted from one of the reports in u.s.
North East Tas will certainly benefit, as well as the other towns supplying the waste timber product.

Here in Aus, we have a hand-full of mills, i believe, and our proposed ~ largest / greenest / most environmentally friendly mill is still not off the ground!

Guess we may get an up-date at or news report from the AGM next week.
