just to recap - this is what the company says re: increasing grade at depth in today's ann - for hole PRDD003:
1) The deep drilling (hole PRD003) was done in a section that had revealed average grade down to 150-200m (e.g., 1.56g/t PGM).
2) At 500m depth they encountered geology in that hole that is very similar to parts of the reef with 2.66g/t up to 10.60g/t PGM.
But what grade do we need for underground mining? Just for comparison, Platreef (deep underground mining) used a 3.xg/t cut-off in an ann I found (do we require similar grade at depth?):
"Platreef’s current Inferred Mineral Resources are 506 million tonnes at a grade of 3.24 g/t 3PE+gold (1.42 g/t platinum, 1.46 g/t palladium, 0.10 g/t rhodium, 0.26 g/t gold), 0.31% nickel and 0.16% copper."
