It's easy to see that ASX investors love hard rock. They understand it. Big, high grade resource wins. As investors here realise, AGY is different. Of course we wish they drilled deeper and picked up more tenements years ago, as the MC wouldn't be sub $500mill right now. But therein lies the opportunity. I think AGY is going to sneak up on a lot of radars once we hit production.
This could skip to over $1bill very quickly. All it takes is some institutions/funds to want some chips in play. You can see what institution backing does in GLN over the past year with Thematica.
I'd love to see Jerko just flick some $ to Cannacord to get some coverage when the time is right.
Realistically LAC and AKE are our nearest big brother peers. Once AGY is in production and there's a clear path to 12kpta then I'd expect we'll see sustained SP appreciation well past $1 as long as the sector stays buoyant.
Nice time to be an AGY investor. Good uptrend. Hot sector. Plenty of significant fundamental news due over the next few months to make for less selling pressure. Great ingredients for a sustained re rate.
