I hope you are correct. I find it a bit of a guessing game with so many moving part. Your figures look sound but it doesn’t always work out as expected.
Paul did say at the AGM 1HY results would be better than the 2HY with a big uplift in performance fees. He also said FY would be better than last even without any additional contributions from new investments.
It’s a bit of a timing issue when SPACs and performance fee hit the bottom line but with todays announcement I think profits will be close to evenly split with 2HY now maybe better than the first.
On a conservative nature my thinking is 1HY 35-40cps. 2HY 40cps with upside from an carry forward profits and tax advantages from Seizert $5mil refund. Further upside if some of your numbers play out.
Still thinking 1HY div 20cps ,2HY div 30-40cps. I’m expecting a payout ratio around 40/60 going forward possibly 45/55 at best.
