I know you probably didn't mean all Chinese people are crooks but it comes across like that especially after saying that you are speaking on a smaller scale therefore I assume you are dealing with Asians personally in say a everyday business. Therefore making me assume you believe every day Asians are bad people, not the big corporations (which are bad no matter what society you're in!)
Let me just say, I'm Asian and I'm pretty sure I'm not a crook. You may be just talking about the country, but I'm pretty sure my family would not appreciate being called crooks.
