I mark Bob Hawkes bringing in Uni fees as a wedge in the door - that's grown like a cancer into what we see today in the Libs

from there - Rudd got stuck with the GFC - did ok with it - better than most - but, the grind down happened continually

the banks went from panic - to glory - then, over a few years - fritted away the advantage - government after government had disasters - - Rudd was an infectious dud for Labor - then, the Libs had Abbbott - Oz was screwed either way -

now - well, we see what we see --- people with houses think it's great - but, under the socks - there's the most horrendous conditions under the skin - just waiting to erupt

the entire body is poorly nourished - the face - if it didn't have makeup on - would appear pale and drawn -- only the lipstick and rouge makes it look ok on the surface ---

it's all bs - underneath is horrible ------------------ yet - few can see it still

The shame of it all is that Australia has had opportunities to step up to the plate and become a positive force for assisting the world to become a much better place - Rudd's G20 initiative fro example.

Boy have we made a mess of our place in the world since then as we head towards becoming another Iran - North Korea - Saudi Arabia - Zimbabwe.
