One would hope that the meltdown in the DOW and the ASX today was a knee jerk reaction to the advice about imminent interest rate hikes in 2022. Panic was well over done. Illogical that it would drop on advice only and not the real thing.

Most shares shared in the significant drops today. All of mine went down about the same amount as IMU did. Goes to prove some people should avoid the share market altogether.

Be interesting if the gloom still continues on the DOW overnight or whether there is some calm returning to the markets. If so, that should flow into the ASX tomorrow. Let's hop common sense prevails.
