When even Elon didn’t see this coming, but STILL they persist! :/

I’m not going to link the original article, because it’s not worth reading, particularly in light of recent vindicating developments, but what really got my goat was that EVEN NOW, despite the same said recent vindicating developments there are still commentators/investment advisors in the media such as “Nanalyse” that are defending their position in the comments section (to this article) and even then, presenting misleading facts upon which to base their seriously flawed position!

I’ve cut and paste my response in their comments section, here, for the sake of posterity in case it gets deleted/censored on their own curation as a timely reminder to consider the source carefully when making your investment decisions.

Please feel free to bring your own marshmallows and enjoy this richly deserved burn. You’re welcome and thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

Nanalyze, please re-read Stan D’s comment and your flippantly misleading response. It was actually NOT Brainchip that announced that their Akida neuromorphic chips will be showcased in the mindblowingly clever, yet sleek’n’sexy-gorgeous Mercedes-Benz Vision EQXX concept (also entirely currently Street legal, btw) prototype EV, but it was actually Mercedes-Benz, themselves, that made the announcement. If you would like to *now* start criticising the value and validity of announcements straight from the much respected mouth of Mercedes-Benz referring to their experience of Brainchip technology as “in orders of magnitude” superior to the previous tech on offer, then GOOD LUCK to you in the credibility stakes.I was also bemused to note in your article that you actually highlighted a BRN announcement in Oct 2017 “BrainChip Ships First BrainChip Accelerator To a Major European Car maker for Evaluation in ADAS and AV Systems” as an example of BRN’s seemingly poor credibility, in your view, and you then went on to snidely comment: “four years later and no revenue results? Progress by announcements?” I would respectfully suggest that any major European car maker that understands the value of protecting its priceless brand via NDA’s when decision making on what tech to incorporate in its world renowned, respected and revered product would surely not rush to gush about any old product that crosses its radar. When Brainchip is openly on the lips of no less than Mercedes-Benz and being spoken of in according superlative terminology, as opposed to your withering assessment, then I think we all know who to sit up and pay attention to. :/ Your conservatively myopic old-school obsession with revenue as opposed to a more thoughtful and considered analysis of the company’s groundbreaking tech and potential offerings on its merits and steady progress of same only allows your readers the sadly missed opportunity of accumulating a stock at a shareprice of mere cents, as opposed to the potential tens or hundreds of dollars this stock could possibly fetch once more experienced commentators such as Mercedes-Benz have had their say AND also put their money where their mouth is and incorporated Brainchip tech support in their flagship highest tech concept EV offering for 2022. Perhaps if you had put the same energy into listening to, reading and analysing the company’s openly available materials regarding its product and progress over the years (and the offerings of many of its more astute investors sharing their thoughts and findings on the relevant forums AND backing their positions by citing their sources) then you would have similarly had the opportunity to witness all the emerging hallmarks of a game-changing, paradigm-shifting first-mover disruptive stock and now be smiling as broadly as those same shareholders who did those hard yards in analysis over the years (or listened to those that did) in order to be smiling so broadly today. Seriously, my cheeks are aching from all the smiling this week,I’ve had to take Panadol. The future is indeed bright for our Perth inventor, Peter van der Made and his (and our) company. There will, of course, always be the inevitable ups and downs in the SP fluctuations to navigate as manipulators and profit-takers play their own games with it and the public / shareholder sentiment. But when Mercedes-Benz puts its name on the line to speak so glowingly of a product that it has entrusted into one of its showcase vehicles and seemingly intimates it will evolve to be a standard future offering, then I’m more than satisfied that your shallowly myopic revenue-obsessed analysis of Brainchip’s value to its investors and the world of AI tech fell very short of the mark and aged poorly. If it’s any consolation, a recently titled review article of the Vision EQXX similarly commented on MB’s extraordinary efficiency improvements in their EV prototype (arguably largely attributable to BRN tech) as a 55% improvement on Tesla’s best offering, querying whether even “Elon saw this coming”. A deeper and more thoughtful analysis (such as that embarked on by several of the tried and tested BRN “true believers”) would have served your readers far better. If you’re in the business of advising stock picks and your analysis is so heavily based on revenue figures (ironically and inappropriately so in the context of a start up disruptive tech venture) and isn’t interested in pursuing a more thoughtful and intellectually rigorous analysis of a stock’s intrinsic and fundamental potential, then your readers are probably better off not wasting their time reading your opinion and, instead, just dump their hard earned investment cash into classic blue chip stocks if DIY’g, or managed ETP/ETF’s where all their thinking is done for them by those like you with via a similarly narrow set of analytical confines as you seem to favour applying. :/ Unlike your review of BRN’s investment potential, none of the above is intended as financial/investment advice to any of your readers as I certainly do not possess the qualifications to do so. I do, however, have the ability to perform my own analysis of material available in the public domain and to shareholders and form my own conclusions that shape my investment choices. I would merely recommend your readers do the same because it took a long time to earn that money, they should do their own reading, consider carefully the opinions of others and invest wisely and not be so quickly convinced by any one commentator without the benefit of undertaking the above due diligence, prior. So, sure, listen to everyone, but be your own counsel! Good luck to all BRN holders past, present and future. We are merely a small Perth-origins start up fronting up to take on the Goliath likes of Intel’s Loihi, Nvidia, IBM/Qualcomm et al, but all Australians sure do LOVE a good underdog story and this one’s shaping up to be a cracker!
