I think an explanation behind the different approaches by Valeo and Mercedes could be as simple as this:
1. Mercedes are selling the end product a car incorporating the tech to retail consumers;
2. Valeo is selling their technology to automotive manufacturers and so if Valeo say their tech is made possible by Brainchip AKIDA there is the potential for an auto manufacturer cutting out the middle man and coming directly to Brainchip.
No idea really but this explanation makes me happy. LOL
