I am in the process of simplifying and rebalancing my portfolio. too many Aussie stocks not enough international which I think is the case with most portfolios. Plus life is short and I don't want to waste my day stock picking when I could out an about doing stuff I really love doing.
No doubt about it aussie stocks are great for divis and franking credits but not great for growth. to get that you have to go for the apples, Microsofts and googles of this world etc
this discussion about PEs and average PEs on these stocks has been invaluable, but nonetheless expensive, extremely expensive for me..
But useful.
