If the US economy wobbles, the first think that US investors will do
is to take their wealth back home.

This would wreck our economy, IMO.

Australia's wealth is essentially owned by Multinationals
who reap the benefits and throw the crumbs to the plebs
much like extractive Colonial Powers of old gave the natives grog
& bling for their natural resources !
