I agree the company should invest wisely in the sector but my hope
related to investing excess cash flow is the following priorities:
1) Complete all of the existing work on the two plants
2) Begin the analytical process and designs necessary to increase
the overall project capabilities to increase to 1 million tons of production annually.
3) Support the Posco joint venture
4) If the Calix pilot is successful, do what it takes to properly expand to handle
existing and future spodumeme production conversion.
In my mind these 4 priorities are fundamentally critical to the long term
growth of this company. They therefore require maximum attention and focus of
management. How often have we seen good companies with good managements
trip up because they took on more than they can properly digest. Some here are
already talking about making acquisitions. Why risk opening a possible can of worms now
when we already have so much work in front of us.
