Sad to see this turned into the regulars here exposing their political bias with a mudslinging fight between lib vs labor supporters. Many of the staunchest jab-cult here now cheering on an unjabbed star - simply because it makes Scomo look bad... and vice versa. Rather pathetic to be honest.
Look here you lot... forget your damn political biases and don't allow parties to shape the entire narrative in your heads...
- This was highly embarrassing for Australia internationally... and for those unaware Aus already has a new stereotype since covid began of a returned prison colony with the most ridiculous covid responses and abuse of human rights during this entire saga. - Quite a few of my foreign friends who I'd thought have no interest in tennis or access to this type of news are rather well informed on this matter and messaged me about it. Even a cpl of random people i've met while at parties, who don't even speak english, after learning i'm Australian spat out 'Novak' straight away signalling their extreme disapproval and how badly our reputation has been tarnished. - This has shown not only the disastrous 'policies' we have, but how politics has come before health, our economy, reputation, our competency for hosting international sporting events etc.
There is a bigger picture here, and that picture doesn't give a crap which side of politics you're on... Australia is broken on a state and fed level Leave your damn "this is scomo's fault" or "this is dan's fault" crap out of this and wake up to the fact that Lib and Labor are best buddies behind closed doors and this petty feuding is exactly what they want as it allows them to continue this incompetence
