Looking at the bigger broader supply chain activities, my Shanghai contact has just informed me that one of the worlds busiest ports, Ningbo, has gone into lockdown. The impact worldwide is going to be enormous to say the least. The flow on effect will be severe and shipping costs will increase astronomically to avoid cargo being bumped for higher paying companies. Please let this Omicron Variant die out quickly and further variants mutate down to be less disruptive and easily manageable.
