For every seller there is a buyer.
So bond sellers are selling and the proceeds are turned to cash so your question is what are they doing with that cash given that in a higher inflation environment it's value is eroded ?
You can pose that question to yourself as to the mindset of the bond sellers, they have taken a view which prompted the sale.
You need to ask yourself if their view is that bonds are overvalued ( by definition they expect them to fall further and by definition yields will move higher and normally interest rates are dependant on the yield the ten year note )
So they may put cash into the stock market but it certainly won't be into "growth stocks " as they have already taken a view that yields and interest are going to rise and it's a widely held view that this is a negative for loss making growth stocks.
