Is 13.24% too high to handle?
Whilst the update on 22 July showed bad debts for
Zip ANZ sitting at 1.82% they avoided showing
Zip GLOBAL bad debts which were at 3.53%
(as per report dated 25 August)
Personally I find highlighting only the lower ANZ % sets up a false sense of where the business is as a whole.
But what is a real shock is when you remove the ANZ receivables and bad debts from the Group totals the bad debt % for Zip (excluding ANZ) becomes 13.24%
Just wondering how others feel about those figures?
Global Figures
Receivables 2,111.6 M
Bad Debts 74.5 M
Bad Debt Percentage 3.53%
ANZ
Receivables 1,795.8 M
Bad Debt ~ 32,683 M
Bad Debt Perchentage 1.82%
Rest of the World (Global excluding ANZ)
Receivables 315.8 M
Bad Debt ~ 41.816 M
Bad Debt Percentage 13.24%
If I have made an error in these calculations please let me know so I can correct.
