I was surprised by the 50% reduction in shorts from just a few days ago, The info is from Financial 61 web site.
Yes, those holding the 25 million shorts will need to pay more to the share holder or custodian of the shares to extend their loan of the shares or return the shares by buying on market current prices in the next 3 days or so. Not a comfortable position to be in.

What would the Brainchip community do?
1) Take the hit and buy back at current prices..25 million shorts might cost possible $8-12 million loss depending on how long they have held them.
2) Go for broke and try to short the price down after meeting the stiffest buyer resistance over the last few days. An other option is to short more and blitz the stock but I fear the 1000 eyes and associated knowledge would be more than a match for the most skilled shorter.

Iam thinking the shorts will be gone by next week (I will check). The positive outlook for Brainchip is hear now and is gaining more traction. If the shorters leave then the only sellers will be those who bought for cents and are selling a portion while probably still holding plenty. Well done to those pioneers.

I have noticed the sell side has hovered around the 3 to 7 million shares on sale. Its been 7 million that reduced down to 3 million following heavy buying then quickly re establishes back to around 7 million (topped up principally by shorter's I believe)? I have seen this repeated multiple times over the last week.
My question is what happens when the 25 million shorts that are left have gone.?
My thoughts; the combination of increased awareness, FOMO, tip of the ice burg, and the technical brilliance of what Peter, Anil and the Brainchip team have created will be not only be the talk of the town but the talk of the word. The sell side will minimise and the buy side will grow. Where that ends is any ones guess. I still have this as a massive buy even though my average buy in increases every time I dip.

The ASX show starring Brainchip is the best show in town. Iam not sure whats going to happen next..What about you guys.
