That's just BS, there is a minimum wage in Australia and it's definitely not below the poverty line. The problem is the reducing gap between the dole and the minimum wage, the dole needs to be reduced or at least stop increasing it to grow that gap and incentivise people to work.

You only have to look at the working poor in USA.

A lot living in cars and homeless have jobs over there!!!

In Australia will we have someone dying from starvation in isolation trying to avoid a fine??
