I have heard of the theory behind the up and to the left (truth) and down and the right (lies)… but i went and had a Google and it would seem the theory was debunked in a study in 2012 (granted I only did a 5 minute Google search and not a proper research study etc)… there was also something about 70% of people actually lying while looking directly into people’s eyes.
I think what we also have to remember is that looking into a screen would rather than a person’s face would add different interaction… hope that makes sense.
anyway… I’ve always thought that Leslie always comes across as very sincere … maybe I’m biased ( definitely looking to the left as I say this ;-) )
