From what I have witnessed just on Australian coastline and local wharfs that were build 50 years ago that NEVER went underwater of king high tides are well and truly underwater.
Name them. The home I lived in 70 years ago, which had king tides wet our backyard is STILL perfectly habitable. Dad threw a few truckloads of cinders from the COAL fired power station in it and it has stayed dry.
I'll make a bet: I take a photo of the front lawn, if it is dead from salt I will donate $100 to your charity of choice. [We are talking an inch or so in old money]
