It is very simple: if you are trading and you do not have a defined method for taking profits
on a trade you are pretending to be a trader. If you think you can accurately pick tops
(or bottoms) every time, you are delusional. If you are a long-term investor you do not
sell unless you believe that the company is overvalued or for personal reasons. If you
are trying to do both you better know to what you will give more weight when there is
conflict & if you are not sure what your intentions are then you are most likely going to
get yourself into some trouble. Neither greed nor fear is a tactic...
"Sentiment" means nothing unless you understand its context & it is a shame that HC
does not provide some option for a more accurate disclosure...
I hope by some miracle (that has yet to occur in the history of mankind) that it works
out well for all...
