Notice how these two moving averages have worked nicely together since March. We want to see the 21dma continue to stay above the 41dma as a sign of trend strength. Eventually of course, this will break.
Combining moving averages (short and longer) is often a great way to grab the best portion of a move up or down. Note the red circles which signal convergence of all the moving averages and the corresponding trend change as they mingle then separate. Nice even time stamps between each convergence circle and based on this, the current leg up may have a little gas left in the tank.
