Hello bones. I agree with you that risk has contributed to society big time. particularly in innovation and tech development and business generally.
HOWEVER, there is a big difference between taking a calculated risk to achieve a benefit and being just plain stupid for example those high profile anti vaxxers in the USA who did not accept vaccination and died of Covid 19. One high profile evangelical pastor bellowed on national and international television that it was wrong to take the vax. He subsequently died of Covid 19. I wonder how many of his flock died because they listened to him.
