NYLEX LTD APPOINTS NEW CFO
Nylex Limited announced that its Chief Financial Officer, Phillip Gibbs will leave the company at the end of his current contract on 31 October 2004.
Managing Director, Glen Casey said "In addition to the normal duties of the CFO role, Phil's significant contribution to the final stage of the restructuring of Nylex - which included 17 divestments, a $100 million equity raising and a new banking facilities is now complete".
Mr Gibbs will be succeeded by Mr Peter White, who has 15 years experience with accounting firm KPMG, including four years as a partner.
The majority of Mr White's tenure at KPMG was spent in the corporate recovery and the business turnaround area, with a major focus on manufacturing, retail and
banking. Peter has a Bachelor of Business and is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
