Hi to all visionaries,

I was asked a question the other day by an accountant friend who is also involved with Brainchip and holds considerable number of shares as to what was it that convinced me to invest in Brainchip back in 2017 as his accountants head would have led him to run a mile back then. We were discussing Brainchip via email and rather than give him a glib answer I said that when we caught up in person next I would explain all.

The glib answer though would have been 12 months of research starting in 2016 but what I believe he wanted to know was what was it in the research that convinced me to buy. The long term visionary shareholders many dating back to 2015 know the answer because they saw the same things and realised the game changing potential.

Hopefully by now the downrampers will have switched off so I will move on to the reason for this post.

I have noticed attempts at dismissing the validity of the Mercedes EAP involvement with Brainchip. Long term posters here will know that I like to check my facts in the absence of an ASX announcement by Brainchip and that I would in all likelihood contact Brainchip and seek clarification. The thing is that any response I receive and publish on here would be unverified information and as such could not be published. I would never willingly breach HC rules. That would be the worst possible thing anyone could do.

This creates quite a problem so as long term posters know rather than contact the company I like to ask the what ifs and hypothesis what answer I might receive if I did contact the company. Sometimes my hypothetical answer comes to pass such as the move to larger premises because of the need to service rapid growth in the Brainchip customer base.

So my hypothetical question to Brainchip on the Mercedes EAP issue would be: "Recently we had a German shareholder post an article on Hot Copper that Mercedes is using the AKIDA technology as a basis for its Hey Mercedes technology in its latest EV prototype at 2022 CES and subsequently numerous other articles have appeared basically saying the same thing. Can you advise whether these articles are accurate in that is there a relationship existing between Brainchip and Mercedes where the AKIDA technology is concerned?"

If I were to have asked this question in my opinion I would receive the following hypothetical answer "Due to Non Disclosure Provisions of our EAP agreements we are unable to discuss the details of certain EAP customer agreements however we can say that the fact of a relationship between Brainchip and Mercedes as reported is 100 percent accurate."
