Yes it should be be judged on the medicine but at the end of the day it's the patient who will either decide to take or not to take the medicine (eg suppositories are big in EU but no where else???) and as mentioned patches aren't popular. One pharma co. launched a patch in alzheimer's recently and you'd think that would be embraced by the patients and carers but no, tiny market share really small..Pain market also...
Yes 10-20% market share in some markets (US only) would be worth going for but it limits it's outlook big time. Please I don't want to be a down ramper but be careful in the pharma market lots of hurdles and this one doesn't hit me as being new or any way particularly exciting.
