No probs mate good luck with Lee.

I finally was able to download a PDF of that patent, and it had some drawings in it, in one version of the round the cartridge contained 7 barrels , if the round was say 120mm then I would say they were approx then the barrels and hence projectiles could have possibly been around 35 mm? perhaps 30 mm but each barrel contained from memory 14 rounds in each,so that would equate to 98 projectiles and inside these are many rubber balls or metal shards, I can see clearly now that the method they are using isn't related to the BAE Patent, it suprising how much difference a drawing makes, rather than trying to work it out from text! they are using something that for all intense purposes resembles say a coffee tin or any tin with a lid really, and at the rear of this tin /canister is the propellant which is electrically initiated, the whole tin/canister is fired out of the barrel, it is basically the projectile, and inside the tin are either the metal shards or the rubber balls depending on whether it is lethal or non lethal, once the round is fired the lid comes away from the round and the container releases its payload and the container falls away as well and the payload just continues on, but I would definately have to say that the whole setup definately looks as though metalstorm IP was behind the makings of this round, the US may argue differently?
