They don’t have a replacement ready which suggests the change was not planned.
They publicly thanked him which suggests there is no bad personal behavior.
It is possible the board lost confidence in him but I would imagine a health or other family type issue is more likely. And if so that is eminently personal.
Not overly concerned at all. Hopefully the board finds a strong replacement soon.
