I was just thinking how Jack and The Beanstalk was probably based on share markets. Don't let this happen to you!

Jack goes out and buys magic beans (shares) with enormous potential but no food value; Jack's wife gets the sh1ts; he gives up working and starts distilling and thus drinking too much; she kicks him out and he climbs his multibagging beanstalk to a land of riches and excess; there's a goose that lays golden eggs (dividends), which he sells to buy coke; the goose has a bad run with her eggs; his dealer-pimp wants his money; Jack cuts down the beanstalk (panic sells) and walks away; his wife takes him back for the kids and because he does all the crappy jobs that she won't do, like the rubbish and emptying the vacuum cleaner
