I would not be surprised if we see 40 cents today. All the longtermers have seen before how hard this thing can run when it wants to. Problem was we never had the income to maintain such price rises. There are a lot of people waiting in the wings for the real deal, the technology was always there just the ability to convert it to dollars was lacking.
Finally the first domino has toppled! Havng finally sold something somewhere is going to release the floodgates. This time we will have revenue coming in to sustain a substantial increase in MC. A few months ago virtually no one had ever heard of a rapid antigen test, now everyone hears the phrase 20 times a day and are desperate to get their hands on one, despite much of what is available being garbage. We have arguably the best RAT in the world, the connectivity aspect alone makes this extremely attractive to both governments and business. TGA approval is now no longer make or break for us, I believe probably Italy alone could gobble up our current 32million unit production capacity. As others have shown selling 32 million units puts our SP well north of a dollar. Having negotiated a non-exclusivity deal with Operon allows us to use other manufacturers if Operon are unable to keep up with demand. I expect we will be hearing about alternate manufacturers very soon which should really launch the SP. Government funding for an Aussie built manufacturing plant might be on the cards from an increasingly desperate government, again this would catapult the SP. We are due to hear more news about the commercialization of the battery tech with a major signing possible very soon. God knows what that would do to the SP.
So many things have lined up that we are now finally going to move from being "perilously close" to "we're there".
