Some valid pouint but the whole premise is that Israel is at the core of it all because it refuses to withdraw to pre-67 boundaries.
They havent and yes it is a problem
But I have no doubt that the main reason (not the only reason) but the main reason is that Israel has not been given the unconditionional permission to live in the region.
All the factions against which it is at odds all have the basic platform of a committment to the annihilation of Israel.
All the bu$llsh$t rhetoric from anyone cannot deny this.
And, it was land that was taken in a war that was waged against it by the very same opponents who had done so for years.
And the facts are...like it or not...that Israel has the right to exist in Israel by virtue of the UN.
You cant have it both ways. You cant demand Israel comply with one set of resolutuons and then say they shouldnt be there - anywhere that is in the region - as the PLO and so many other Arabs do.
They're there cause the UN said so!
I am secure in the my fundemental belief that if Israel was guaranteed the right to peaceful coexistence they would cede back the land.
And yes, the settler issue needs to be addressed but thats another issue.
