Completely agree with you mate. I was a late entry into MEP so had a lot of reading to do in a short period of time to get full bottle on this. Not to say I'm full bottle on this now, but it still took several hours and the skimming of hundreds of pages just to barely wrap my head around the various conditions, key dates and voting processes. Having been involved in countless mergers and TO's before, this is certainly one that could have been communicated more clearly to Shareholders.
FYI - Voting for the demerger prior to the General Meeting is now closed.
To vote now shareholders either need to vote at the General Meeting on 20 January 2022 in person, or vote online during the meeting. The first 3 pages of the Notice Of General Meeting released on 16 December 2021 goes into this in more detail and was probably overlooked by many Share Holders. Hopefully enough people read it to get the deal over the line... guess we will find out after the meeting on the 20th.
Cheers,
SS
