30-40K in a stock is pretty standard for most investors (except with young or starting out). I would encourage everyone to start as soon as possible and with the minimum if that's all you have. Anything is better than nothing.

HOWEVER....

For for Baker Street as one of the relentless trolls, it shows he must be young or just starting out and wishing for epic falls and to buy Zip cheap and hope it bounces back in a couple of years.

You should have at least 10 stocks in a portfolio and preferably more. If Baker Street is freaking out over 30-40K it shows he is working with a smaller amount of cash (and nothing wrong with that) and is trying to buy in as cheap as possible and actually wants this stock to bounce back 2020 style. Why else troll post so much every day?

Baker Street I would recommend you get a second part-time job to make extra money instead of constant trolling and hoping for Zip's downfall and for everyone to lose money. You will be better off working hard and saving as much as you can now and one day when you have a decent sized portfolio, you'll look back and be embarrassed at how you behaved here, loving and taunting how everyone is losing money. Save your own money first before wishing for everyone else to lose out, just so you can buy in cheap. The cost of living in Australia is expensive and you freaking out over 30-40K shows why you troll so much here. Try to lift yourself up, instead of trying to drag everyone down
