Where's the justice for society from this crime? Will the current penalties available to a judge to impose, be adequate for what has just happened?
I say no.
Bring back the death penalty for crimes like this and make them pay with their own life.

well, I have this really weird concept that I'd like the state to do what it can to PREVENT these happenings

as opposed to chopping heads off AFTER they happen

apparently others think that prevention is less important than revenge

that tells me more about others and me than about the crime
