I flirt with the deflationary perspective. And also think that some deflationary legs are left in this overall story. Am getting my popcorn ready for when the carry trade pops... but extended deflation in the US will see it bankrupt. I just can't see who wins in that scenario...
These guys are taking it out on China - but the cheap dollar is the root cause. Scream and shout they may - but will their governments listen? Or will they send them to the wall.
As for PHD - all I can say is UGGGHHH!
Adwebster - have been reading your posts with great interest as always. always a wealth of information and analysis in them. Don't really get why SP is on yr back. As you've been largely technically orientated of late, I often don't have much to contribute as it's not my area of expertise... but definitely trying to absorb what I can. keep it up.
