Dathomir was Cong's outfit.
Dathcom, now jointly owned by: 75% AVZ and 25% Cominiere. (Cominiere is the DRC state mining company)
AVZ bought 15% of Dathcom in 2 tranches from Dathomir (owned by Kabila associate Simon Cong).
Cong sold out of Dathcom after he apparently tried unsuccessfully, via his influential friends (Kabila's brother & Co), to get control over Piana–Mwanga Hydroelectric Power Station.
FT is still running a backguard battle with the Kabila clan, who are not happy about slowly being exposed for what they were and are, thieves of the DRC.
They would love to turn the clock back and open the financial gates the way they were in the past back up.
Kabila and cohorts are also responsible for the ongoing rebel unrests, it suited them in the past and now.
Kabila's brother, got the boot in May 2021 as being the Governor of Tanganyika Province in the DRC.
However Zoe Kabila is still a powerful man in the Manono area (and big mate of Simon Cong).
All IMO.
