For me, I have a goal of 1m shares, currently I have 250000 with 100k as options, each fortnight when I'm paid I'll stick some of my pay into my account and buy one or the other depending on market conditions until I meet my goal of 500k each then in basically 2 years I can pay 2.2c per share to have it all, buying this way will mean it should cost maybe 60% the price upfront to get these shares meaning I can use saved money to build out my other positions and also means I can get to the end goal faster hopefully avoiding any huge share price increases that will slow down progress to that target, but that's the way I've been using options
