The UK has been a covid basket case and the reason PM Boris Johnson is removing restrictions is because most of the UK people have been triple vaxxed.
In Australia the dummies in the East opened up without the population being largely triple vaxxed. Boosters were not even available till recently and it was madness that they threw caution to the wind and created a debacle where they are having to make unsound decisions such as allowing infected people to work in various occupations.
WA has avoided all of that and throwing it all away would be madness particularly given the booster program only recently began.
