Mark McGowan has decided to retain WA’s hard border. Probably good for us, I’m currently at home with COVID and it’s a tough disease and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. It’s so wildly infectious that with an open border it would’ve hit Iron Ridge at some point within the next few months. Hopefully we can remain COVID-free and continue producing. It’s possible iron ore producers will be impacted by this and we will see supply tighten.
Feeling for those with friends and family in WA, or those in WA, but with what’s happening in the east coast you can see why they’ve made the decisions they have.
