Direct reduced iron ( DRI) needs high grade iron ore ( magnetite.). FMG "s Iron Bridge contains 716 million tonnes of magnetite grading 67% iron. I think they intend to mix this with their lower quality iron to make higher grade concentrates. This involves crushing ores to fine powders and mixing low and high grades to get higher about 63.% concentrate. But blast furnace cannot process fine powder concentrates so concentrated powdered ore needs to be pelletised . All this needs construction of costly plant ( ask FMG what it costs to build such a plant).

Sortekap SODD001 has more than 85% of 80% magnetite with other interesting stuff like 2% chalcopyrite and pyrrhotite. 80% Magnetite is absolutely perfect for DRI processing plants to produce green steel. Can this be the wild card for Conico? Is this the company maker hole??? Waiting for assays with anticipating.
