Wow. Just caught up with this news.
I have been in ARV for many years and seen the ups and the downs of share price on the ASX. Now it's time for an UP cycle. How big will it be? If they hit gold on their Patersons ground, it could be a really big uptick.
Is this UK AIM listing a good thing? I'd say 100% GOOD NEWS.
Reading some of the previous comments on HC here today, AIM is not a crappy market, as some suggest. To the contrary, it is actually part of the London Stock Exchange and there are some big companies listed on AIM. There is massive liquidity on London AIM and every institution and retail punter can trade it. Also the Americans and Canadians are very active in AIM.
This dual listing, and that is what it is, will add a lot of liquidity to ARV trading on a daily basis. If I look at EMH, which I have also been in for a long time, it was their London listing that made things happen. In general, EMH probably trades more in London that it does on the ASX.
For ARV, London understands the Patersons Ranges because of Greatland Gold and their Havieron gold/copper discovery that they JV's with Newcrest. The Patersons has been generally ignored by Australian investors. London won't ignore ARV.
I read ARV's last drill hole news before Christmas shut down and the pictures of the drill core right on the boundary of ARV's Patersons ground and Havieron looks more than very encouraging and indicates that the Havieron mineralisation continues into ARV's ground.
I also read comments about Greatland Gold (GGP) and their price falling. It still has a monster market cap of around a billion A$, even after selling off 70% to Newcrest. And they are now in their sort of boring phase with the decline being developed. A new gold resource increase statement should change that flat London sentiment.
I also recall from the previous ARV news releases on their Patersons ground that they many Havieron style Magnetic/gravity targets.
London is going to really like ARV trading there. Greatland Gold shareholders will certainly be looking at ARV which still owns 100% of its massive 600 sq km Patersons ground that surrounds Havieron.
It's going to get very interesting int he coming weeks as the London listing kicks in. There will be a lot of Arb going on sucking stock out of the Australian ARV market.
