Attached to this post is a post by @Geordiebelta which I found very interesting and I encourage everyone to check it out. Throughout the industry recently (especially the last 24 months) we've seen an UNPRECEDENTED amount of acquisitions from the major players in the tech industry as backed up by the article below -
https://www.cnbc.com/2022/01/22/amazon-microsoft-alphabet-set-more-deals-in-2021-than-last-10-years.html
My first instinct is to ask the question WHY.
My belief (as I have stated before) is that it is indirectly linked to BRNs emergence in the industry. Let's be real, the majority of the big players would have known for AT LEAST two years the success of BRN is going to rock the tech world to it's core. They are not stupid, companies like ALPHABET, SAMSUNG, AMD, MICROSOFT, NVIDIA, INTEL, TESLA, QUALCOMM all would have known BRN was coming for them and there market share, you know it and I know it.
So what do they do? GARAUNTEED majority of them would have unofficially enquired about the willingness of PvdM and Co to entertain a buy out, there is no question in my mind. Enquiries would have been made and flat out rejected (for the time being) in my eyes.
So failing this, what do they do?
PIVOT and AQUIRE
Everyone already knows NVIDIA wants to buy ARM and QUALCOMM have expressed interest in heavily investing in ARM if the deal falls apart..........
INTEL wants to buy Global Foundries and SiFive (probably because NVIDIA was buying ARM)

https://siliconangle.com/2021/06/10/report-intel-offered-2b-acquire-chip-startup-sifive/
SAMSUNG had thoughts of buying NXP but shelved the idea recently (QUALCOMM also attempted to buy NXP)
https://www.androidheadlines.com/2021/04/samsung-may-acquire-this-semiconductor-company-valued-at-55-billion.html
AMD to acquire XILNIX below
https://www.marketwatch.com/story/amd-pushes-back-timeline-for-closing-of-xilinx-merger-2021-12-30
ALPHABET acquisitions below from 2019........
I'm sure there are a number of key mergers and acquisitions I haven't mentioned but the point is this - For the big players, now more than ever.......................It's time to adapt OR DIE. Who of the above, will take 2nd mover advantage? (BRN has already claimed 1st)
