People can go on about history all they want, but you can't change it. Exploration, invasion, rape & pillage had been going on for centuries. Without meaning to sound heartless, it did work out well for some but not for others.
I cannot understand why everything about this country has become so 'overthought'. For risk of offending, upsetting?
As for the Aboriginal 'agitators', you truly cannot believe they will ever be satisfied with whatever changes are made for them. They will only ever take because they cannot see past the chip on their shoulder.
As for colonisation, and everthing that flowed from it, without it we would not even be sitting here having this conversation.
