i have read the Uluru Statement - and am still unsure if it "speaks" for First Nations - irrespective, I cannot decide if that document wants to replace all the existing indigenous advisory groups that currently exist inside government, or supplement those existing bodies and add another "department" of advisors.
I guess my point is that inside government there are already dedicated indigenous advisors. I am not sure if that is well recognised by either the indigenous community, or the broader Australian community.
