Alee26, yes these are capitulation events and the DOW was remarkable overnight in its recovery. Almost all of my charts show oversold - so IMO now is a buy zone.
I read that article and where I slightly disagree is that capitulation events on volume often have V shape reversals as opposed to flattening out. Either way, a good time to start buying. All should DYOR but this isn't the first rodeo for these patterns.
