It's possible that even if there's not war in the Ukraine and some of Russia, wheat planting, cultivation and in time harvesting may face at the very least some small additional challenges. Farm labour of youngish, strapping Ukrainian and Russian males may be diverted to military conscription or other associated tasks.
GNC's financing of its crop handling may face additional costs but does this justify a further 4.31 per cent SP drop as at 1411 AEDT today?
I am no expert but wheat futures rose last night in Chicago USA. GNC has not told 'Mr Market' that demand domestically and internationally is taking a battering so seemingly all good.
