Just a personal IMO, however most companies might have chosen to withhold any announcements until after the US reporting season, due to the likelihood of so much volatility, in which we now witness.
Let the dust settle...
Also, the end of January , seasonally, shows a dip, before the road upwards into February/March.
As we can currently see, the market is getting belted. Let the SP settle and THEN post announcements.
That way degradation of the SP, post announcement is hopefully, minimal.
Most directors have performance bonuses added into their renumeration package, so SP growth is valuable to them, as well as us.
Let's just see how this latest retrace plays out, then decide whether or not it's time to re-enter the market again...
