Please note that when I made a comparisons between AR3 and IXR, I did so in response to @Winenut as some kind of guide as to what might be a fair share price value for AR3. However, that is I where I think the comparisons should stop.
That’s because when discussing the finer characteristics of different ionic clay (IC) deposits like who’s strip ratio, mineral content, bulk mining potential or continuous mineralisation is greater than the other, it becomes meaningless! Especially, if recoveries of the right key magnet elements ‘can’ be achieved then theoretically all projects will be at lower end of the cost quartile when in operation. Therefore, they will all most likely have little to no barriers to market entry because the need to find low-cost raw supply (exChina) to feed the exponential demand of permanent magnets for electric vehicles, wind turbines and robotic equipment industries over the next decade or so, is that lucrative, let alone rare.
Ultimately, each project will need to stand up on its own. And as we enter a future where geopolitically-linked supply-chains do become the norm, it means spending the time and resources to keep abreast of the local affairs of which your investment resides. That’s fine, if you’re diligent enough to do that, however, I’d much prefer to keep an eye on the projects that are located in my backyard.
